I have a metal loving husband who I adore and who helps me raise our 3 funky kids, Cassndera, Trevor, and Conway.

World Environment Walk
Conway and I went for the World Environment day walk and it was pretty fun. We walked to the new pedestrian bridge and back and also checked out the forestry building, the outside anyway. We got lucky and it didnt't rain on us, however it is supposed to rain here for the next week. Well, at least the older children are in summer school and that is for two more weeks and by then it should be nice out.

Healthcare Reform
To all my fellow citizens who have ever struggled with paying the medical bills or who have had to think about what you will do if you loose your insurance. Please click on the link and let Washington know how desperatly we need a reform in the healthcare industry. Our premiums cannot keep landing in the wrong pokets. There needs to be regulation, there is no going back now, even if you can afford your healthcare millions cannot. And someone please tell me why the U.S. has the best facilities in the country but the highest infant mortality rate. Somewhere along the track people have been pushed off of it and this needs to end. Help make our voices heard.

Oh, by the way,
I got three A's (with high 90's in my classes) in Marketing, English, and my Government class. The professor in my Government loved my dissertation! That made my day an eight page essay and I got a 97%. What a feeling, I think I am still studying for marketing but when I get my bachelors I might focus on political science.
Spring is wonderful
I just want to let everyone know how much I love my garden. It grows everyday and my children watch and learn with it. Trevor especially loves knowing all the plant names and all the flowers around the house. I think his favorite are the hostas. The garden should produce high yields, (not the corn, it is a little touchy) and we will enjoy the fruits of our labor. Funny, huh.

Proud to be from IA
I have to say how proud I am recently to been raised in Iowa. Even though now I live in a more conservative state I can be happy that Iowa still holds values. In recently passing the rights of gay marriage they are unfolding precedents to be followed. It is a right as a human being to marry the person you love regardless of sex.
The founders of this country made it a right of people to do as they wished, with the exception of hurting others. This is a great moment and I hope that people will realize that you can't choose who you love and the country is not founded on the bible, a book that not everyone reads. It was founded on religious freedoms and rights for all.

Stupid
I wish I had a normal family that could all have things in common the only thing we have in common is that we have the same mother. I am an empowered, independent, and strong woman and the rest of my family relies on others to make things happen or wants a man to do it for them. Men are over rated and the only reason I have one is for love and a family not because I need a paycheck or to do stuff for me. I can survive by myself and he just makes life fun. Don't get me wrong I could not imagine living without Colin, but he realizes how strong I am and does not question me.
Be educated, make your own views and don't let someone buy your love. Before you can ever love anyone else you need to love and appreciate yourself.
In time I hope my sisters learn for themselves and not from thier mother on how to pick a spouse, and that they also quit being worried about what everyone else thinks.
